FAQ's

How long does it take to install Recovery Magic and create an archive ?

A user can install Recovery Magic and create an archive in just a few seconds.

Is Recovery Magic similar to the Windows XP restore command ?

Recovery Magic and Windows XP’s Restore command are very different in both concept and function. Windows Restore command is a repair tool for corrupt and missing files. It can (but not always) restore corrupt system configuration settings by identifying and reconstructing the defective files. However, if a virus attacks your PC and corrupts or destroys files and configurations, the Windows Restore command is completely incapable and helpless in restoring your system’s environment, the cause of the corruption, the virus, remains on the hard disk drive. In contrast, Recovery Magic returns all your files and system configurations exactly back to the OEM configuration after a virus attack and even in cases where Windows will not start.

Will having Recovery Magic installed slow-down the system ?

Recovery Magic requires typically less than 2% of the disk space and generally much less to protect the data.

● What are the steps involved in performing a restore using Recovery Magic ?

Just select the immediate Recovery option from the Recovery Magic Menu. Recovery Magic will request a password and then reboot the system into its restored, original state.
